Frequently Asked Questions about our Events & Workshops
Please click on the tabs below to read the answers. If there is something we missed, feel free to contact us!
Ticket Cancellations - Refunds or Rescheduling
Because each event requires careful planning and organising, we do not offer refunds or rescheduling as the place that is booked could have been offered to someone else.
You can, however, gift the spot to someone else if you are unable to make it at the event as the name on the booking does not need to be final. Please get in touch with us if you would like to do this for a particular event.
Severe Weather or Government Guidelines
We are commited to run every event, however, if we are unable to run an event due to severe weather conditions, government guidelines or other appropriate reasons, we will offer you an alternative date or a voucher to use on our website.
Declaring relevant Medical Conditions & Food Allergies
When participating in our events, walks or workshops, it is your responsibility to let us know of any relevant health conditions before the event including any allergies (food, insect bites etc…) that could affect your own health and / or by, consequence, other participants.
For conditions such as Asthma or Anaphylaxis, please let us know where you keep your inhaler or epi-pen in case of emergency.
Dietary Requirements, Food Intolerances or other
When booking an event that involves food, we will ask you during your booking if you have any food intolerances or special dietary requirements. We will try to facilitate you as best as possible during the event you have booked. Please make sure to let us know in advance of the events.
Accessibility for All
All are welcome on our events and we will not tolerate any form of discrimination thereof against staff or participants.
If you have a disability or mobility issues, please contact us in advance of booking an event so we can confirm if it is suitable due to the nature of the event. We will be able to recommend which appropriate events would suit you or could arrange for a private event upon discussion.
Communications about the event
We will be sending info about the event, location and timings via email. It is your responsibility to provide us with correct contact information & to keep an eye out for such emails. We would advise you to add info@foxandhawksbotanicals.com to your address book and to check your SPAM box if you do not get any emails. If this is the case, please contact us immediately using the contact page on the website.
Please do not leave this until the last minute as we will be busy shortly before and during the event and will not be able to respond to your messages during that time.
Appropriate wears for outdoor events
We will keep you up to date on the weather for events and we will recommend whether to bring any waterproofs or appropriate footwear. It is, however, your responsibility to ensure you are appropriately dressed for the outdoors.
Can I bring Children with me?
Unless indicated, our events are orientated towards adults. We may organise events specifically for families but most events are not suitable for young children below the age of 15. If you need to bring your children for any reason, please get in touch with us before you book the event and we can discuss on a case to case basis. We will not be able to discount their tickets due to the limited amount of spaces available for each event.
Any children present must be supervised by their accompanying adult and are under their parent or guardian’s responsibility.
We hope that some of these have FAQs have answered your question. But if not, please feel free to get in touch with your question and we will get back in touch with you as soon as possible.
